​​Richmond PAL Youth Leadership Council

​​The Richmond Police Athletic League is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that aims to provide comprehensive support to the City of Richmond’s youth through mentorship opportunities, educational support, and sports and recreational activities. It is our hope to provide programs that will bridge the gap between Richmond families, our community, and the Richmond Police Department in an effort to nurture and guide our youth into becoming productive and contributing citizens. The goal of the Richmond PAL Youth Leadership Council is to engage and develop Richmond’s middle and high school youth to carry out this mission. Throughout the program, the youth will build leadership skills such as:

• Seeing yourself as a leader
• Always being willing to help others
• Being a positive example for others to follow
• Making good decisions
• Staying focused and positive
• Listening to what others have to say
• Speaking using kind words
• Being encouraging
• Being driven but gracious
• Being teachable
• Having a good work ethic
• Maintaining good values
• Being loving in all that you do
