P. H. I. T. Program ​

P. H. I. T. Program “Built for success, fit for life” ​

​(Professionalism, Health and Integrity Training)
The Purpose: To encourage, educate and empower high school aged students to live a healthy lifestyle and to become the leaders of the future. To combine both physical fitness and team building exercises to build healthy habits, strength and the confidence needed to be successful in school and life. 

Life Skill Topics include:
  • Health and nutrition 
  • Public Speaking and Etiquette 
  • Financial Literacy and Conflict resolution 

The Mission: To incorporate physical fitness and life-skill application to foster leadership, growth and success in high-school aged students.

P.H.I.T. meets three days a week (Tues-Thurs), after school from 3:00pm to 5:00pm. We have between 12-15 students, grades 9th-12th in the program. Participants will engage in challenging physical activities and attend breakout sessions designed to create and reinforce healthy habits and develop a professional mindset.   
The goal of the PHIT program is to: 
  • Build a rapport between the community and Police (RPD) 
  • Improve morale in students and culture of the school
  • Create a safe social environment
  • Create, foster and reinforce healthy and professional habits.
  • Public speaking, etiquette, conflict resolution, and coping techniques. 
We will also host an event at the culmination of the program; to celebrate and recognize the development and growth of our participants. We will invite parents to share in the celebration.
